INTRO TO ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Students will discover the concept of entrepreneurship, and explore the role of business in society.

Welcome to your very first Digital Workshop with the Enspire program! You can find everything you need for this workshop on this page.

There are 5 activities included in this workshop. Some of them you can do by yourself, and other will require you to work in small groups or have full-class discussions.

We challenge you to be open to new ideas, ask questions, and be bold!

For Google Drive users, to access your downloaded files:

Open an activity link and make a copy of the activity by going to File > Make a Copy. Then save it onto your own personal Google Drive.

For Microsoft App users, to access your downloaded files:

On desktop/computer: Go to your File Explorer > Downloads. On iPad, Go to your home screen > My Files > Recents

2. Pre-Program Survey

Thank you for filling out this quick, 5-minute survey! The purpose of this survey is so that we, the Enspire team, can gain some insight on how we can best tailor our program to suit your learning.

4. Research an Entrepreneur

An entrepreneur is someone who designs, launches, and runs a new business. Every day, new businesses are started by bold, bright, and determined entrepreneurs! In this activity, learn about a Canadian entrepreneur who used their idea to make the world a better place.

5. Learning Check Quiz

This short quiz is just for fun, to reflect on what you've learned! Answer all questions to the best of your ability, and the correct answers will be revealed after you submit. You may attempt this quiz as many times as you like.

6. Optional Creative Personality Test

Entrepreneurs are often creative, passionate, optimistic, and resilient, meaning they don't give up easily. However, there is no one "formula" for what make a person a good entrepreneur. Lots of people with different types of personalities can make successful entrepreneurs. Try this Creative Personality Test to discover what type of entrepreneur you might be!
